Fame is fickle

I was about to blog on this until I saw Andrew Wheeler’s most excellent post which says just about everything I was going to say on this.  Yes, it does seem like the NY Times book review is making it up as they go along.  Remember how they treated “Harry Potter” books when they started monopolizing the fiction bestseller list.  They’re in!  They’re out!  They’re their own list!  We’ve had a number of books from our group that should have appeared on the list, but for them having something to do with computers, an unforgiveable sin in the eyes of the Times.
